Delegate Hite moved to amend the committee substitute on page 1, section 1, line 2, by striking the words “to whom a sale, lease, or offer of a line of credit is made in a consumer transaction” and inserting in lieu thereof the words “engaged in a consumer transaction”

And

On page 1, section 1, line 8, by striking the words “a sale, lease, or offer of a line of credit to a natural person or persons” and inserting in lieu thereof the words “any legal financial agreement for which a credit application is required”

And

On page 1, section 1, line 11, by striking the words “an application for a line of credit from” and inserting in lieu thereof the words “a consumer transaction with”

And

On page 1, section 1, line 13, by striking the words “line of credit application” and inserting in lieu thereof the words “consumer transaction”

And

On page 1, section 1, line 14, by striking the words “applying for a line of credit from” and inserting in lieu thereof the words “engaged in a consumer transaction with”
